Billy Nigh "Passion of the Game" Award

Billy was a well-known and highly regarded lacrosse player who played and participated in the Tacoma Youth Lacrosse program and Curtis High School lacrosse.  Billy's work ethic and love for the game was an inspiration to his teammates and coaches.  He loved and played the sport with passion and excellence, embodying the game of lacrosse.  Tragically, Billy was killed in an automobile accident in 2003.  Each year players are awarded not because they are the best players on the team, but instead for exhibiting outstanding passion for the game, for showing positive sportsmanship, and for standing out as a role-model or leader for their teammates.
